Each week “Just One Thing” will feature some of my favorite things. Everything from handbags to shoes to stationary to recipes. The little “bits and bobs” (a term I picked up while staying in London) that make me, me.

It is also my hope that my readers will send along their “one thing” that shows their own brand of chic. I’ll regularly feature reader submissions throughout this weekly series. All you’ll need to do is send along a few photos of your “one thing” and a short write up about it. How easy is that?

This week’s “one thing” is a JB Martin Paris Boston bag I picked up as a birthday gift to myself at the Galleries Lafayette in Paris. It was love at first sight when I saw the bag and, when the sales associate informed me that it was the last one in the store, I knew we were meant to be together.

I love this bag for its bright color (poppy), sense of structure (not your typical hobo), and versatile style (I can wear it to work and on the weekends).
