“It’s just one thing that’s got me trippin'” – Amerie, “Just One Thing”
I am a fan of pearls. Many people think of them as prim and proper only to be worn dressed up or out on the finest of occasions. I, however, find myself wearing all manner of pearls all the time. From long strands, to pearl stud earrings. Pearls can add instant sophistication to simple jeans and a t-shirt.
This week’s “One Thing” is a vintage-style Chanel necklace. I love this piece because it is versatile. It can be worn as one long strand of pearls for a flapper-like feel. Or, it can be looped once or even twice for smaller, more demure strands.
I find myself layering this piece with various chains for a more casual laid back look or looping it and rocking it out at work.
