Sending a handwritten note seems to be a lost art form. Call me old school, but I write handwritten thank-you notes, or send cards just to check in on my girlfriends. There is something so classic and thoughtful about taking the time to sit down and craft a careful message. In a world where life happens at a thousand miles a minute and we used to instant everything (email, text messages, iChat), isn’t it nice just to slow down, if only for a moment? Plus, who doesn’t like to be on the receiving end of a handwritten note.

This week’s “One Thing” is the monogrammed notecards by Thirty One. Thirty One is a direct selling company that mostly focuses on handbags and accessories. However, when I saw their adorable notecards that could be customized I couldn’t pass up the chance to add to my rather large collection.

Thirty One offers up a number of designs that change on a regular basis. I adored the simplicity and elegance offered by these cards – white, with simple silver detail and a silver envelope to match.
