For as long as I can remember, or as long as I’ve been into boys – whichever comes first – I have loved the smell of Calvin Klein Obsession. Few things in life make me feel safer than being wrapped in the arms of a man I love (strongly like, kinda like, tolerate, whatever) while the scent of Obsession engulfs me.
So, as you can imagine my pure delight in the Obsession for Women perfume. Generally, I’m much more of a dainty perfume wearer – think Christian Dior J’adore – but, when I want to feel strong and powerful I reach for Chanel No. 5 or my trusty bottle of Obsession.
There is something about the musky undertones and hint of manly strength that get me pumped for a big meeting at work or presentation I’m giving. Though it’s not a traditional scent, it is regularly in my rotation.

hmmm, I’ll have to try that one. On a man, I personally loooooove Victoria’s Secret Sexy for Men and Pi Cologne for Men by Givenchy. Totally different smells, but they both just do it for me. I smell either one and it makes me want to curl up on the couch with some swexy guy, blanket wrapped around us, and all the cares in the world just tossed to the side. At the very least I’m plotting out how to get a bear hug from the dude. LOL
Lol. Well. This is a women’s version of the CK classic. Maybe they make a women’s scent that is similar to the two you mentioned!
Me too! I definitely need to check this out! I’m really into make up and perfume. I haven’t had the opportunity to check out a new scent for the summer. This may have to make it to my perfume collection. Thanks for the tip!
I definitely recommend checking this out. If you like the scent but the perfume is too heavy for summer check out the Eau de toilette which is lighter. Dolce and Gabanna and Givenchy also have great women’s scents for summer. And, some participating Sephoras are selling a $50 variety perfume pack (10 scents) with a gift certificate for a bottle of your fave set from the sampler!
Sephora gets me in trouble every time I am there. I have to write this down! I’ll let you know how it goes 🙂
