STOMP THE RUNWAY AGAINST DOMESTIC ABUSE

Friday June 15, 2012, TRUST, Philadelphia, PA

Stomp the Runway, Friday June 15, 2012Stomp the Runway Against Domestic Abuse
One of the great things about Philadelphia is that we know how to do for a cause, as evidenced by the upcoming 17 . . . Days of Fashion (where “it’s fashionable to be charitable in Philadelphia).  Philly’s fashion elite has no problem wearing their hearts on their stylish sleeves.

This couldn’t be more evident than in tonight’s Stomp the Runway Against Domestic Abuse (STR) fashion gala.  Rashad Corey Productions will roll out the purple carpet for Stomp The Runway – it’s premiere fashion gala against domestic abuse on June 15, at TRUST from 7 to 11 p.m. hosted by 100.3 WRNB’s Moshay Laren, and Kendra G, FOX 29’s celebrity and entertainment news reporter.

Inspired by the death of local published model, Vanessa “Ms. Banks” Watson, this fashion gala will increase awareness about the dangers of domestic abuse among the Philadelphia community at risk and fundraise to support life-saving services by Women Against Abuse, Inc. (WAA).   WAA is the only nonprofit organization in Philadelphia that provides limited shelter services.

At STR, the 400+ guests in attendance will also enjoy Philadelphia’s finest designers in a cosmopolitan runway show headlined by local award-winning couture designer, Autumnlin Kietponglert; The GLAM Bar by celebrity hair and make-up artists, Kia Sterling and Rodney Jon, Philly Minx, Darci by DiCaprio, Spa East; cash bar, exquisite hors d’oeuvres, silent auctions, giveaways live entertainment by DJ Hollywood and more.

Tickets to the event are $40 and NO tickets will be sold at the door.  Visit http://www.stomptherunway.com for more details about the event.

TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!

My fashionable Philly people, I am bummed that my travel schedule has placed me out of town when such an important (and fashionable) event is taking place!  I hope some (or all) of you will be able to make the event and help Stomp the Runway Against Domestic Abuse.
