Well kids – the YCS monthly fashion challenges are back. I’m giving you a head start on the April challenge and also adding a bonus challenge (or super late March challenge depending on how you look at it)! The April Fashion Challenge is inspired by spring cleaning! Hey – maybe if we engage in some spring cleaning spring will actually, you know, show up!
Your April 2013 Fashion Challenge: Donate/swap 2 items of clothing and share what you donated/swapped, where you donated/swapped it and why you donated/swapped it.
Your Bonus Fashion Challenge: Upgrade and rock a “grown-up” item or piece of jewelry. As I’ve grown in my personal style, I find myself coveting more expensive, grown-up pieces for my wardrobe. Before, I used to be more concerned with quantity. But now, I want quality. So, as I shop, I find myself buying higher quality pieces – whether it be clothing, hand bags or jewelry. I’m challenging everyone to find a higher quality “grown-up” piece (it doesn’t have to be new – look in thrift shops, vintage stores or for great sales!) to add to their closet.
