YCS Review: Tristan & Eve Men's Titanium Ring

Just before the holidays I was given the opportunity to receive and review a men’s titanium ring from Tristan & Eve.  Since a lot of my fashion choices, from watches to perfume, are inspired by menswear it was a no brainer.  Plus, this girl LOVES jewelry!

Appearance

This ring is actually a men’s wedding band (in case you didn’t get that from the blog post title) made from Titanium (in a matte, silver-grey finish) with seven Cubic Zirconia stones set inside.  There are double grooves around the ring and Tristan & Eve is etched on the inside of the ring.  This is how you’ll know it’s truly a Tristan & Eve ring.

The thing I LOVE about this ring is that it’s not too masculine or too feminine.  Although it was a little large for me to wear on my ring finger, it fit perfectly on my middle and pointer finger.  I wore it as a stand alone piece and stacked with other rings.  It’s also versatile – as it can be worn to work or for a night out.  It has sparkle without being gaudy.  I always receive compliments whenever I wear the ring.

Durability

Between typing at work, randomly sitting around to play on my keyboard, and just doing everyday things, like the dishes, I’m pretty tough on my hands.  I wanted to be sure that this ring could stand up for the challenge.  I wore the ring on numerous occasions and during a number of activities – including arts and crafts, playtime with my niece and nephew, and long distance traveling.  I wanted to make sure the ring could stand up to the wear and tear of every day life over the long haul.

I am happy to report that this ring definitely passed the durability test.  Scratches were minimal, if even there at all.  I even took the pictures today so that you can see that after six weeks of use and abuse she is still holding up beautifully!

Price Point

Ladies, this is the part where being a girl stinks.  Men’s wedding bands are, historically, significantly less expensive than women’s.  This ring is no different as it’s available for $39.00 (and currently on sale at Amazon for $11.95)!  However, girls, don’t fret – it’ll look great on your hands too.  So go ahead and order yours!

Overall Rank

I would definitely give this Tristan & Eve ring 4 stars out of five.  My only gripe is that they do not currently half-size.  I found the ring to be flattering, versatile, and durable.  Any man or woman would be lucky to have such a classic piece.
