BTS: Celebrating Life at Lane Bryant – Bowie Town Center

By Erika, Fashion Expert

Many of our readers may not know that YCS originally started out as an event planning company (along with fashion styling) with a focus on curating fashion-focused events like fashion shows, themed brunches, etc.  Though I got out of the event planning and production business, my love for events has never waned.  That’s why, I was so excited to partner with Lane Bryant – Bowie Town Center to produce an event celebrating life during Breast Cancer Awareness month!

Like so many people, breast cancer has affected my family and so many around me.  My mother and great aunt are both survivors and my aunt is currently battling her second bout with the disease.  She’s totally winning the fight, by the way. I have spent many years fundraising and donating to fight the disease and this event is the perfect marriage between my love of fashion AND my desire to eradicate breast cancer.

When I tell you we have so many awesome things planned for our guests on October 20 – that is NOT an exaggeration.  I thought it would be incredibly fun for me to give you guys some of the inside scoop on the big day and let you meet some of our awesome partners who will be participating. We have an incredible day scheduled complete with the latest curvy fashion, a private shopping event, photographer, make-up artist, and event a masseuse to pamper guests ALL DAY LONG!

Private Shopping + Personal Styling

Untitled design (4)From 9-10 am, we are hosting a private shopping event exclusively for breast cancer survivors and women who are courageously fighting the disease.  Guests will be treated to breakfast sponsored by my friends at 21 Squared and will receive exclusive, private access to the store and the latest F/W styles ahead of regular shopping hours.

At 10am, the general public is invited to shop our store.  We are offering personal styling appointments and bra fittings throughout the day.  It’s the perfect chance for our guests to be pampered and have a stylist help them pull together looks that are both fashion forward and figure flattering.  Of course, I’ll be doing some personal styling and shopping appointments – so hopefully you’ll come in and get to shop with me!

Selfie Station + Professional PhotographytopbottomLogo_small

Of course, I’ll also be hanging out at the selfie station and on social media duty ALL day! Our awesome friends at 21 Squared have sent us some fun goodies for our selfie station where guests can take pictures in the latest curvy fashions and share with all of their social media followers.

Untitled design (5)We are also incredibly excited to have professional photographer, A.E. Moore, Sr. join our event! That’s right ladies – you can shoot with our very own photographer and live the GLAM life – even if just for a day! Not only will he be capturing all of the fun at our event (your social timelines are about to be FLOODED); he’ll also be shooting our guests modeling the latest LB fashion.  A.E. has more than 20 years of photography experience and works to showcase the true essence of each event he photographs.  I am positive he will capture hope, joy, excitement and fun at our event!

Make-Up + Makeovers + Pampering

Untitled design (2)We have to make sure you’re camera ready! The incredibly talented Shari Tiandra will be giving mini makeovers to help unsure you are ready for the Fall season from head to toe! Shari Tiandra is a seasoned make-up artist and entertainment industry veteran – she is the REAL DEAL! Shari Tiandra’s goal is to bring beauty into the lives she enters.  Trust me, she’s going to bring beauty to everyone who meets her this Saturday! Like me Shari’s mother is a breast cancer survivor, so this event is near and dear to her heart.

Untitled design (3)And, as if food, make-up, and photography wasn’t already enough for our guests, we are also going to pamper the ladies who come to shop with us! All day long, we are offering our guests chair massages. Thomas Fluellyn has been a massage therapist since 2001 – so I’d definitely say we are going to be in good hands.  He retired from the Army in 2007 after serving 21 years.  I’d like to go on record and thank Thomas for his service – in the Army AND as a massage therapist.  I’m pretty sure you’ll find me in that chair a time or two as we move through the day!

Social Media

I’ll be sharing the fun via the YCS Instagram and Facebook pages – so make sure you’re following along! You can also follow Lane Bryant – Bowie Town Center on Instagram to see even more pictures from the day! You might even see a familiar face or two!  We

also, obviously, want you to follow the social media accounts of our sponsors and vendors, so take the next two minutes to click the links below and follow along.

Stay Chic,

Around the World in 60 Days!

By Erika, Resident Fashionista

OK, so maybe I haven’t exactly been around the world (but come October, when I head to Dubai, that will absolutely be the case!) but I have been out and about.  If you keep up with me or YCS via Facebook and Instagram you may have seen some of the adventures I have had over the past few months.  In the last 60 days alone I have been to seven (yep, seven!) states and have been keeping myself plenty busy with work, play, and, of course, fashion!  Below you will find a pretty random sampling of what I have been up to as well as shopping information for some of the looks you have seen featured on Instagram and Facebook.

I love to travel!  And, it’s a good thing because my full-time job has kept me pretty busy on the road for the past couple of months, including trips to Utah and Minnesota!  Of course, I always try my best to travel in style and keep it fashionable!

Jetsetting in a comfy, casual, and stylish outfit.  Jetsetter tip: If you’re flying dress in layers.  Airplanes are usually chilly, but airports and destinations will vary in temperature.  You don’t want to get stuck buying a $50 hoodie because of poor planning!

[Shirt: ADIVA I Jacket + Leggings: Avenue I Glasses: Tory Burch]

The hallway in my home has looked like this for the longest time!  I wasn’t a believer in hardshell luggage until I bought my first piece last October. Now, I love it and I recently purchased a carry-on size to add to my collection.  Jetsetter tip: 360 spinner wheels are a MUST on rolling luggage.

I just adore the beautiful monogrammed pieces from Boulevard and couldn’t resist picking up a couple monogrammed “Amelia” luggage tags in “Poppy.”  And, at only $28 each, they’re a steal!  Visit their website to pick up your own!

Beautiful Minnesota sunset!

The mountain backdrop was gorgeous as we hit the highways of Utah!  Even though it was April we experienced spring-like weather and a snow storm all on the same trip!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a proud graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC.  I basically work to get HU into every conversation any chance I get.  This year, I celebrated my 10-year reunion with my classmates and we had a blast!  Howard is KNOWN as a fashionable and stylish university, so, of course, I had to come to the reunion with my A-game.  What do you guys think?

IMG_0109Sitting pretty at the official “Forever HU 05” Day Party.  Jetsetter tip: Pack clothing in the same color family so that you can reuse accessories without over packing.  I intentionally chose a black and white color palette for the weekend to save space (I was also traveling for work).

During my adventures I also had a chance to check out the Ashley Stewart “Love Your Curves” Tour during it’s stop in Philadelphia, PA.  You all know that around YCS we are ALL about embracing our curves and loving the skin we are in.  So, it was a no brainer that I had to check out this event.  The tour, which also made a stop in Chicago, and will be heading to Baltimore, Detroit, New York, and Atlanta, was all about embracing your curves and connecting with some of the cities most stylish women.  Hosted at the West Philadelphia location, the event featured a model casting, red carpet, giveaways, and, naturally, shopping discounts.

Desi at Ashely Steward Love Your CurvesMy (and probably everyone else’s) favorite personality from Praise 103.9, “ya Big Girl Dezzie” joined in the fun at the “Love Your Curves” Tour.

11216592_10100832651950700_3109047703296782374_nOf course I got in on the shopping action, snagging this pair of joggers with a sheer tuxedo stripe down the side! These joggers are no longer available, but check out the new selection of joggers they have available.

As if all of the aforementioned fun wasn’t enough, I’ve also attended my fair share of fundraising events over the past two months.  One event that I am always happy to support is the Kappa Beautillion program sponsored by the Burlington-Camden Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  I have been a long-time support of this program and it is always a pleasure to watch these boys grow into distinguished, young gentlemen.  Additionally, for the first time, I attended the “Wall Ball” sponsored by the Mural Arts program here in Philadelphia.  The event featured live mural painting and design, a live auction, a fantastic DJ, great food, and, duh, fabulous art!

The dress code for the “Wall Ball 2015” was “festive cocktail” attire.  I don’t think cocktail attire gets more festive than metallic gold!

[Dress: Eliza J (currently unavailable)]

Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot wear a patterned gown to a formal event. You will look fabulous and stand out in a sea of dark dresses. Pro tip: If you’re wearing a patterned gown that could skew “maxi dress” be sure to dress it up with jewelry and the right heels.

[Dress: Jessica Howard]

As if all of that wasn’t enough, I’m also in the middle of redecorating my 2nd bedroom (for real this time) to turn it into a grown-up office!  I’ve hired friend to YCS Cherise, of Ispaci, to help with the project and it’s going amazing.  I can’t wait to share the finished results with all of you on YCS!

22617_10100789743085410_2692695420253934204_n#currentsituation.  Except now there is also a chaise lounge in the middle of my living room!  It’s going to be so worth it at the end of all of this!!

So there it is, a chic peek into my life over the last few months.  What have you guys been up to?  I want to hear all about it!

YCS Guide to : Labor Day Party/BBQ

Labor Day Party/BBQ

By Alexis, CEO Jr.

Can you believe summer is almost over? Even though August is almost over, there is still time for some summer fun! One of my favorite things to do is throw a barbeque, and with Labor Day just around the corner, I thought I’d give you my ideas for a great BBQ/Labor Day party.

Now if you are going to throw a Labor Day party it is all about the decorations. Deck out all your tables in red, white, and blue. Below is a picture of us starting to set up my dining room during a Memorial Day party, but you can use the same type of decorations. We hung stars from the chandelier and outside was decked out in American flags. American flag napkins and plates are always a plus and it is great to decorate with American themed tea-lights and candles. All the lights will come in handy when the sun starts to set. Of course we also had to decorate our dog too !

labor day

Finding some red, white, and blue beads and American themed tattoos is always great if there will be kids there because they can have fun decking themselves out. If you don’t want to spend all your money on buying decorations, you can also make them. I always enjoy using Mason jars when I’m making decorations. You can get some red, white, and blue wax paper and glue and go to town. I would cut up all sorts of designs like stars and stripes and paste them to the Mason jar. The wax paper will give them a very cool effect when you add a tea-light to them. You could also fill up a mason jar with red, white, and blue candy. It serves as a decoration and food at the same time. Construction paper always comes in handy as well. You can use some to cut out stars to hang outside. It does not need to look perfect, because the home-made look is in. Just have fun with whatever you decide to make!

The center piece for any BBQ is the food. Burgers, BBQ chicken, hot dogs, and ribs are all traditional food to have. One of my favorite rib recipes is Emeril’s with his spicy apple glaze. Below is the recipe!

Baby Back Ribs with a Spicy Apple Glaze Yield: 4 servings Glaze: 3 cups apple cider 1 cup apple cider vinegar 1 cup apple sauce 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/4 cup thinly sliced ginger 1/2 stick cinnamon 1/2 vanilla bean, split in half lengthwise and seeds scraped 6 cardamom pods 2 teaspoons allspice berries 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1/4 teaspoons salt Ribs: 4 to 5 pounds baby back ribs (2 full slabs, each cut in half) 2 tablespoons kosher salt 1 tablespoon paprika 3/4 teaspoon granulated garlic powder 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated onion powder 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 cup apple cider Directions To make the glaze, place all of the ingredients for the glaze in a 6-quart pot and cook over medium-high heat. Bring the contents of the pot to a boil, stirring often to dissolve the sugar. Once the mixture has come to a boil, reduce the heat to medium, and allow the mixture to reduce to a glaze consistency, about 30 to 35 minutes longer. Remove the glaze from the stove and strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Reserve until ready to use. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. Place the ribs on a full sheet pan. In a small mixing bowl, combine the kosher salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne. Stir well to incorporate, and use 1 tablespoon of the spice rub to cover each of the ribs. Rub the mixture into the meat, and allow it to sit undisturbed for at least 20 minutes. Pour the cider into the sheet pan, and wrap the ribs with aluminum foil to make a tight seal. Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the ribs are very tender. Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the foil and the fat and oil from the sheet pan, and allow the ribs to cool for 15 to 20 minutes. Adjust the oven to the broil setting and position the oven rack on the lowest rung. Brush the ribs with a generous coating of the glaze, about 3 tablespoons of the glaze per set of ribs. Place the sheet pan back in the oven, and broil until the ribs are browned and caramelized, about 5 minutes. Remove the ribs from the oven and lay on a cutting board meaty-side down. Use a sharp knife to cut the ribs apart. Serve the ribs with some of the leftover glaze on the side, if desired. Read more at:

Doesn’t that sound so delicious? It is an in depth recipe, but it is definitely worth the labor. They are always the hit of the party when we make them. Now if you are sticking with the Labor Day party a great thing to do is add red, white, and blue into your food. You could do a dessert with strawberries and blueberries. I love mixing some cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla for a fruit dipping sauce. It always comes out very tasty. Of course find red, white, and blue bowls and plates to serve all your food in. Those little touches bring your party to the next level.

The best thing about being a party host though is not only the presentation, but how you treat your guests. Coming around and serving some of the food is always thoughtful instead of making them wait in line by the grill. It isn’t always easy hosting the party, but little things like that show that you care!

I hope you enjoyed some of my ideas for a Labor Day Party/BBQ. Sound off in the comments if you have any questions and enjoy the rest of your summer!!

    Scenes from a Girlfriends Brunch

    By Erika, Resident Fashionista

Whew!  This weekend was a complete whirlwind for the YCS team!!  YCS Alexis popped over to the Fashionaires Vintage Designer pop-up (which you’ll hear all about on Wednesday), we did a venue site visit (for a very special event coming up for you guys – deets soon!), and we managed to cover both nights of Philly Fashion Week’s runway shows (which we’ll be featuring throughout the week)!  I’m completely exhausted just thinking about it.  Needless to say, a Sunday morning brunch among girlfriends was just what the doctor ordered for my complete recovery!

The brunch guests and I received this completely adorable invitation (pictured below) for “Girlfriends Brunch” from YCS fave, and my good friend, Karima of Skinny Minority (  An afternoon of girl talk, delicious food, and mimosas?  Sign me up now!

The ladies and I arrived for brunch at Talula’s Garden (210 W Washington Square  Philadelphia, PA 19106 I – an adorable eatery located directly across the street from Washington Square Park near Olde City Philadelphia.  The restaurant is tucked away behind iron gates and if you blink you’ll totally miss it.  You can eat outside  in the garden (which is apparently pretty magical, especially at night) or inside, like we did (which is pretty spectacular in its own right).  In fact, we were seated at the table show in the second picture below.  Pretty cool, right?

The atmosphere was warm, cozy, shabby-chic (heavy on the chic), and totally inviting.  And, the service was top notch!  It was the perfect place for all of the ladies – myself, Karima, Taja of Curvy Urbane (, Georgette of Grown and Curvy Woman (, Onyx of The Creative Nous, LLC (, and Maryam of Indique Hair ( – to get together and talk business and pleasure – almost exclusively pleasure.

Karima pulled together an eclectic group of young, upwardly mobile, sophisticated, and fun ladies for this event.  In a world where women are often times catty, cruel, and competitive, it was refreshing to come together for some good old-fashioned fun with these girls.  Even though we were a group of young entrepreneurs, bloggers, and career-minded individuals there was no sense of competition among us.  Instead, it was pure camaraderie as we exchanged stories, ideas, suggestions, and invitations to each other’s events.  Moments like the ones I shared with these girls are exactly what I mean when I say “chic isn’t an adjective; it’s a way of life.”  Check out some of the pictures from our wonderful brunch!

YCS Events: Curvy Closets Plus Size Fashion Showcase

    By Erika, Resident Fashionista

The fall is upon us and that means one thing . . . fashion, fashion everywhere! Throughout September and October you are going to find YCS covering a number of really amazing fashion events!  One such event is the Curvy Closets Plus Size Fashion Showcase on Saturday October 12, 2013 from 5pm – 10pm.

The Skinny (pun totally intended) on Curvy Closets

What:  “The brainchild of Domonique Revere-Lincoln CEO of Empress Lingerie and Blogger Colleen Stovall of,  this runway show and cocktail reception is becoming a legendary annual fashion craze in the Philadelphia area.  [The] goal is to bring the best of plus size fashion to Philadelphia for [an] astonishing one night affair.  In addition to having a great showcase and event, [they] are dedicated  to donating a portion of the proceeds from our show to 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations.” (via

    How much: $40 (purchase tickets:

Why we’ll be there: There are a number of reasons that this is a “must attend” event this fall.  I am all about any event that celebrates women and their curves! Far too often, unrealistic body images are celebrated in fashion; so I love the fact that Curvy Closets embraces curves – which are a reality for tons of women out there!  I also love the charitable tie-in!  This year a portion of event proceeds will be donated to Hairless 4 Her Awareness, an organization dedicated to promoting awareness for breast cancer through community outreach and engagement.  This a double win in my book because it supports a valuable charity and the charity supports breast cancer awareness, which is near and dear to my heart. Finally, two of my personal faves will be there – the gorgeous Allison McGevna, plus sized model, blogger, and designer will be hosting the festivities and the amazing Aleea Slappy, founder of A Happy Slappy Greeting, Inc.,  will be the Curvy Correspondent on the Pink Carpet!  Bonus: The title sponsor is Plus Model Magazine!

This is really a no brainer – you need to be there!!

Keep in Touch with Curvy Closets

To stay in the know about all things Curvy Closets make sure to link up with them any of the following places:

So, we can totally expect to see you there, right?  Be sure to let YCS and Curvy Closets know that you’ll be there!  And of course, find us at the event.  You KNOW the YCS team will be strutting our stuff on the pink carpet!

YCS Events: 17. . . Days of Fashion

    By Erika, Resident Fashionista

For the fourth year, 17 . . . Days of Fashion has descended upon Philadelphia.  The annual event features a number of fashion events produced by local designers and industry professionals.  It also incorporates education forums lead by leaders of the Delaware Valley and fashion community at large.  YCS is thrilled to be a part of the festivities for the second year in a row.

17 . . . Days of Fashion kicked-off Friday night with the 4th Annual Media Reception and Kick-Off event held at Jollies Live.

The star studded event included local celebrities like Fox 29 News Anchor Sheinelle Jones, Praise 103.9’s Dezzie, the ever-so-stylish Jamahal Boyd and one of my personal faves, the fabulous Envy McKee.  The red carpet was also home to national celebrities like Boxer Bryant “By By” Jennings and Chaz Shepherd, whom most of you will know from The Game, but, whom I remember from his days on 7th Heaven starring as Gabrielle Union’s brother (how’s that for some trivia!).  As the event planner for the kick-off reception, I had the perfect vantage point to see all of the fashionable guests upon arrival.  Check out some of my behind-the-scenes photos below.

Throughout the next two weeks there will be a variety of different events held under the 17 . . . Days of Fashion umbrella.  Although YCS will not be attending all of the events, there are a couple that we’re looking forward to attending.  Notably, the Philadelphia Daily News “Sexy Singles Party” on Thursday August 22,  the VIP Shopping Night and Fashion show hosted by D.I.M.e Universal and held Dress Barn, Bala Cynwyd on Saturday August 24, and the Philly Fashion 360 event on Wednesday August 28 at Fire and Ice.  To get a full list of events visit

As you can see, the line-up for this year’s 17 . . . Days of fashion looks promising.  Will YCS be seeing you at any of the eventS?  Let us know!

YCS Photo Recap: Chasing Joy Brunch and Learn

By Erika, Resident Fashionista (Photo Credits: CoraStar Productions)

This weekend I had the pleasure of speaking at the Chasing Joy Brunch and Learn about “Dressing for Success: What Everyone Should Know.”  It was truly an honor and my pleasure to speak with such a phenomenal group of women and network with them.  We also listened to Janeane Davis, of Janeane’s World, speak about success and happiness.

We had a ton of sponsors for the event, but I have to give a special shout out to Dress Barn – Gateway Shopping Plaza (125 East Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA 19087) for allowing me to pull clothes to assist in the presentation.  I also want to thank Arlett of Chasing Joy for inviting me to participate in the event.  As usual, a great time was had by all!

Take a minute to check out the pictures from the event!!

    YCS Around the Web

    By Erika, Resident Fashionista

Hey guys and dolls, I know on Wednesday I promised the female companion to Donte’s post about what men should wear to a summer wedding. Well, I’m pushing that post back to Monday. But with good reason. Besides a whole bunch of blog/web analytics crap that you don’t actually care about (I’m slowly, like really slowly, becoming an analytics freak) the main reason is because YCS has some awesome things going on!

    From Our Contributors

Our own make-up maven Torrey has put up a few new posts on her blog Corporate Beauty. That’s right, in addition to working full-time, writing for YCS, doing accounting and things for YCS (it’s a business, ya’ll) she also manages her own blog. I have no idea how she manages to do all that, buy the newest, hottest make-up and keep her face looking beat. to. the. gawds. at all times!

If you head over to the blog at Skinny Minority you might find a familiar face there today! I’ve been checking out Karima’s blog and site for quite some time – long before I had the pleasure of meeting her and getting to know her. To tell you that it is flattering to be featured as her “Look of the Week” would pretty much be the understatement of the century. It is beyond flattering! Anytime one of my “blidols” (blogging idols) takes notice of anything I’m doing it sends chills straight up and down my spine. It’s the same feeling I get when Kelly of Kelly Golightly likes a YCS photo on Instagram. I totally go into “fan girl” mode!
    Upcoming Events

Remember the Chasing Joy Brunch and Learn I wrote about in April? Well, the first one was a rousing success!!! And, I’m honored to let you all know that I’ll be one of the two featured speakers at the upcoming Chasing Joy Brunch and Learn on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Yup! You read that right!

    Come out and learn:
    1. How to dress for success – no matter what success looks like to you
    2. The secret success weapons that should be in every woman’s closet
    3. The most important thing you should wear every day
As an added bonus, on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 8:00 pm we will be hosting a #CJBL Twitter Chat discussing the upcoming brunch and learn and answering some reader questions. To join us all you have to do is get on “the Twitter” (that’s what my aunt called it), follow the hashtag #CJBL and join in the fun! Make sure you’re following YCS (@urchicisshowing), Chasing Joy (@chasing_joy) and Janeane Davis (@janeanedavis) to join the fun!

You can get details on the Chasing Joy website and also register for the event.

See? I told you we’ve got some GREAT things going on! I’ll be back Monday with the answer to that oh so annoying question, “what do I wear?” Until then, have a fabulous weekend loves!

YCS Events: Chasing Joy Brunch and Learn

If you follow YCS on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram you may have noticed some regular chatter about the exciting changes coming down the pipe (and may have even seen one cool change – our new logo!).  As YCS continues to change, grow, and expand, one of the goals is to make YCS a destination – a daily stop for our readers, supporters, and friends – to get information on all the chicest happenings, from clothing and make-up to hair care and events.  I truly believe that chic isn’t an adjective; it’s a way of life.  Chic extends beyond designer or name brand clothing, throwing the coolest parties or always being in the “know.”  Chic comes from within. We have to take care of ourselves and nurture our mind, body, and spirit.  Something we often neglect to do (myself included!).

In light of this, I’m so excited to introduce YCS’ readers to the Chasing Joy Brunch and Learn (#CJBL)! This event will be held on Saturday April 27, 2013 (yup, one day before Strut Your Stuff) at Maggiano’s King of Prussia from 11 am – 3pm.  What better way to nurture yourself by joining me at this fabulous event! The #CJBL is hosted by my bloggy-turned-real-friend Arlett of Chasing Joy.

At the event we are all invited to “get inspired, motivated, and educated on ways to increase our happiness.  Ms. Positivity herself, life coach, Melissa Lopez, and President and Chief Executive Officer of James, Davis and Associates, Janeane Davis will be enlightening us on their paths to joy.”  This event is an opportunity for people to connect with positive, joy minded people and to be inspired by each other and the event’s speakers.  In my opinion, feeling good on the inside radiates and will make you look more chic than clothes and make-up ever could! Plus your ticket includes food (win!). And, there are going to be giveaways too!

What are you waiting for? Take a moment to purchase your ticket on Eventbrite. Go ahead!  I’ll wait!

In all seriousness, this event is not to be missed.  In a world where we are all trying to keep up with the Kardashians, one-up each other on Facebook or Twitter, or just get through the daily hustle and grind it is easy to see how our own happiness and joy can get lost in the shuffle.  I am looking forward to spending this time reflecting on my own exciting life and finding ways to embrace happiness in each and every day.  For me, attending this event was a no brainer!  It is always worthwhile to invest in myself.

YCS Family – why don’t you take some time and invest in yourself as well?  Come join me, Arlett and her Joy Chasers for an afternoon of reflection, joy, happiness, fun and, of course, food!  I’d love to meet some of the YCS Family at this event!

To learn more visit Chasing Joy and Eventbrite!

And, of course, if you’re going be sure to let YCS know via Facebook and Twitter by using hashtag #CJBL!

I look forward to seeing the YCS Family and Joy Chasers at this event!

Your Chic (and Joy) is Showing,

    With Love, Erika
