Fall is one of my favorite time of years. I love the crisp weather, the beautiful colors and the great fashion. Each year, fashion magazines and editors tell us what to wear to be on trend for the fall. But, through the years I’ve discovered some staples that will never go out of style. Over the next few weeks we’ll talk about the timeless fall must haves that will always be cool and on trend.
One of my favorite wardrobe staples is the classic trench coat. There are so many styles and colors available, that sometime it can be hard and overwhelming to pick one. My advice is to stick with the classic length that falls just above your knee in the traditional tan/khaki color. You can never go wrong with this and you’ll look sleek, elegant and sophisticated, whether you wearing this over jeans and ballet flats or with a dress to the office.
You can spice up your trench by changing out the belt, picking one with cool details like leather sleeves or big buttons, or adding a pretty scarf or brooch. Regardless of how you rock this classic you will always be in style.
